This piece of art was drawn by an amateur artist who posted it on an art sharing website, deviantART.com. It is a very popular piece there, probably for the same reason I like it. This picture shows everything I feel about my art, the message I hope to send with it. When I draw, I want to breathe life into my characters. This picture brings out a dormant dream of mine, to see my characters animated. This picture also brings me back to a short video I watched recently called, "The Making of Pocahontas". This program showed all of the work that was put into making this one movie. I focused mostly on what the animators had to say. No matter what character the person worked on, each artist said that they wanted theirs to have a personality, feelings and actions that their audience could relate to. They wanted to make their character "real". This is the goal I have for all of my artwork and this is the message, "Art is a Creation" sends.
